Antioquia, for a silver medal, won the athletics tournament against Valle de C. There were seven gold medals on Sunday

First National Youth Games of the Olympic and Paralympic sector. Antioquia, for a silver medal, won the athletics tournament against Valle de Cauca. There were seven gold medals on Sunday: two in table tennis and cycling and one in athletics, field tennis and artistic swimming. Antioquia moved within five gold medals of Bogotá in the general classification (56-51). Valle del C now has 39 golds. As the First National and Paranational Youth Games approach their meridian, the dispute for advanced places becomes more intense. On Sunday date (November 17)Antioquia won seven gold medals and took five overall from Bogotá, the leader. The Antioqueños with these seven medals increased the difference with Valle del Cauca, since the white and green have 51 gold medals compared to 39 for the Valle del Cauca.

Consequently, the medal table says that Bogotá has 56 golds, Antioquia 51 and Valle del Cauca 39. Next in line are Cundinamarca (11) and Atlantic (7).

The Antioqueños, of the tournaments that ended on that date, won the athletics tournament for a silver medal over Valle del Cauca, since in gold they were 12-12, but in silver Antioquia added 13 to 12 of the sugar producers. The other sports that ended on Sunday were won by Atlántico (baseball), Bogota (skating and field tennis) and Caldas (triathlon).

For their part, in Santiago de Cali, the Antioquian paracyclists added gold (Edwar Damián Pavas), and a silver with Miguel Ángel Bolívar.
