Antoine Bouganne became known to specialists on social networks. He created his YouTube channel at the age of 14 and documented his progress and activities in surfing. From there, a certain notoriety arises, allowing him to make a living from networks for 10 years. Three years ago, he decided to take up a new challenge by taking up badminton and created a second channel. He joined his club in St-Nazaire, traveled to the four corners of France, and even as far as Canada, to play tournaments every week, then went during the holidays to Indonesia, where badminton is the king sport, to train and perfect your technique.
“I got hooked on the friendly spirit of this sport”
He thus films his spectacular progression and goes from P12 to N3 in a year and a half. “I had some skills in racquet sports, and it was very pleasant to win everything. I love the feeling with the racket, and I immediately connected with the friendly spirit of this sport. I’m also a fan of the universe created by FFBad. It’s fun, it amuse me.” For some time now, he has been challenging famous players such as Léo Van Gysel and Brice Leverdez. “These are videos that I dreamed of seeing when I started. But as they did not exist, and so I did it.” Starting to stagnate, he has been working for six months with a former physical trainer from Insep, who arrived at his club last year as a coach. “He brings me a lot and takes me to a new level. We train up to 5 hours a day. With my final today in Ploërmel, I made my biggest score in a tournament so I am very happy.”
