The third edition of the Pimentel International Baseball Classic will take place from November 23 to 28 at the prestigious Pimentel Baseball Academy Complex, with the participation of 10 teams representing eight countries. This annual event, organized by Pimentel Baseball Academy, seeks to showcase the best talents eligible for the international classes of 2025 and 2026, in a competitive environment and high organizational quality.
Among the confirmed teams are: Venezuela, Guatemala, Colombia, Puerto Rico A, Puerto Rico B, Curacao, Mexico, Florida, Texas, and the hosts of the Dominican Republic.
The tournament will be played under a group format: the teams will be divided into two groups of five, facing each other in a regular round of four games against each of their group’s rivals. The top two teams in each group will advance to the single-elimination crossover semifinals, whose winners will compete in the grand final for the Seaboard Cup.
“The objective of the tournament is to highlight the talent of the international market in a competitive, well-organized environment full of opportunities,” said Cristian Pimentel, president of Pimentel Baseball Academy.
In addition to the tournament, special recognition will be given to players signed by the academy, such as Adolfo Sánchez (Cincinnati Reds), Jemone Nuel (Baltimore Orioles) and Luis De León (Houston Astros), among other notable prospects.
The Pimentel International Baseball Classic 2024 promises to be an unmissable event for baseball fans and international scouts, establishing itself as one of the benchmark events in youth baseball.
