Arsenal are currently searching for a replacement for the departed sporting director Edu.
Paris Saint-Germain’s director of football, Luis Campos, is also a candidate, along with Leverkusen’s sporting director Simon Rosfeld and Real Sociedad’s Roberto Olabe, who recently announced his retirement.
Campos is a recruiter with a reputation for discovering young talent, and during his time at Monaco, he recruited Bernardo Silva (currently Manchester City) and Kylian Mbappé (currently Real Madrid), and during his time at Lille, Rafael Leon (currently AC Milan). He worked hard to acquire Jonathan David and others.

He is also demonstrating his skills at PSG, recruiting current mainstays Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Joao Neves.
Particularly strong is his strong connection with agent Jorge Mendes, whose clients include Manchester City’s B. Silva and Ruben Diaz, among many other big players. Among PSG players, France’s Bradley Barcola (22) and Warren Zair-Emri (18), as well as Portugal’s Vitinha (24) and Joao Neves (20), are also among the talents Mendes has.
Campos’ current contract with PSG runs until the end of this season, and the club appears to have approached him about extending his contract, but no agreement seems to have been reached. Future developments are attracting attention.
