For its part, in San Luis Rio Colorado State Police officers arrested a man who was carrying 28 white tabletswhich were not specified type and weight of the substance; a couple of small bags with methamphetamine; and machete and an object that appears to be a firearm. The man, whose identity was not revealed, was captured on Santa Fe Street, corner of Manantial Avenue.
Likewise, there were activities in Caborcamunicipality in which AMIC agents secured a vehicle in which there were three chargers for rifle type firearm and 40 cartridges of various calibers for military use.
In a final action, military and AMIC elements reported the discovery of a vehicle in the vicinity of kilometer 15, Sonoyta – El Plomo highwayinside the unit 13 were found chargers for rifle-type firearms, as well as 509 cartridges of different calibers for military use.
The photographs shared by the Security Desk show the weapons, doses of drugs and seized vehicles. The authorities indicate that “an arsenal of firearms, drugs, 25 magazines for rifle-type firearms, 1,101 cartridges and five vehicles, two of them armored,” were seized.
