Zubimendi is quoted in the Premier. Liverpool already tried to sign him last summer and will try again to sign him. He will not be the only one, since according to the English media TeamTalkArsenal will also try to acquire the services of the Spanish player.
Zubimendi is a product of the prolific youth academy of Real Sociedad, his hometown club. The player entered the club’s youth ranks in 2011, when he was just 12 years old, and was trained through all of the club’s categories until he reached the first team. In October 2022 he extended his relationship with the club for two more years, until 2027. That season the team qualified to play in the UEFA Champions League and for the next season, after the departure of Illarramendi, he inherited the number 4.
He was one of the 26 called up for Euro 2024, participating in several matches in the tournament. One of them was the final in which Spain defeated England and became champions.
