Pereira, November 24, 2024. Several sports closed their curtain this Saturday at the first National Youth Games, including swimming races which, although it did not win medals, did accumulate experience and made a worthy representation thinking about the process of the 2027 National Senior Games.
This was announced by Luis Eduardo Quintero, president of the Risaraldense Swimming League, who expressed that although no medals were won, the balance is very positive since the process only takes six months.
“We had a very young team that is just beginning its process of participating in national events such as the Interleague and these National Games, they are very newbies, they have been in the process of high achievements for a very short time, only six months, and despite that, “The balance is positive because the majority of boys were among the top six in their tests,” Quintero stated.

What has been done by the Boxing League is surprising and has a very good projection. “The goal is to continue strengthening ourselves to maintain and improve the level, with a view to new competitions,” stated Sandra Milena Vélez Correa, head of mission of Risaralda in the National Games.
