From the very young to the masters, all in the typical “judogi” uniform cinched at the waist by different colored belts, up to the coveted black belt. They are the athletes who, together with technicians and competition judges, will arrive in Riccione over the weekend for the 39th Italian judo championship signed by Csen – National Educational Sports Centre. The event, scheduled at the Playhall on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November under the patronage of the Municipality of Riccione, will involve 1,500 people, including athletes and technicians. Judokas from all regions of Italy will compete for the top step of the podium to represent all categories of the martial art of judo: from very young people to beginners and cadets, from juniors to seniors up to masters. On the tatami of the Playhall in Riccione the competitions will take place on Saturday morning and afternoon for the men’s and women’s youth Grand Prix (children’s, boys’ and beginners’ categories) and on Sunday for all the other categories (cadets, under 23, seniors and masters) . Awards will follow for the participating companies and the 2024 overall Trophy will be awarded to the company that has scored the most points in the two days…
