Phase one of the national final of the Intercollegiate Games begins to define those classified for the XXVIII South American School Games, the largest school sports event on the continent, which brings together the best from each country.
At the Bogotá High Performance Center, judo classified its champions. In the pre-juvenile women’s category, the Valle team shone with their own light by winning the gold medal, after an outstanding day of combat. Bogotá, for its part, fought until the end to get the silver medal, while Santander completed the podium with the bronze medal.
In the men’s division, the competition was very close. The Bogotá team won the gold, standing out for their technique and strength in each fight. Valle took silver, achieving an outstanding performance, while Antioquía and Santander tied for third place, reflecting the excellent level of teams from across the country in this discipline.
For its part, sports science experienced its first day in the classic category, where the high level that this tournament promises was evident. Intense and fast encounters framed the competitions that will last until November 25.
