Conmebol launched, this Tuesday (5), in partnership with Puma, the special design of the ball for the Copa Libertadores final. On November 30th (Saturday), at 5pm (Brasília time), Atlético and Botafogo will compete in the big decision at Mâs Monumental de Núñez, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Called the Puma Cumbre, the name was inspired by the mountain range that runs throughout South America. In the previous stages of the Libertadores, the object, predominantly white, also had details in orange and blue. For the final, Cumbre will have black and gold tones.
Cumbre’s special design was launched by Conmebol this Tuesday (5)
“This design, inspired by the American continent, combines an elegant white tone with black and gold details, capturing the essence of the most important tournament on the continent, which unites communities and fans”, announced Conmebol.
The design of the Cumbre ball was designed in the shape of the continent and consists of 12 sealed segments. The intention of the developers of the “pelota” was to provide balanced weight balance. In addition, it also has a Puma Air Lock (Pal) valve, created to retain air.
“The ball features the iconic Puma Cat logo in black, which stands out against the white and gold background and reflects the strength and agility of the game, symbolizing the passion of South American football,” added Conmebol.
