Italy’s Yannick Sinner won the ATP Finals title by defeating America’s Taylor Fritz in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. He is the first Italian player to win the final tournament of the year played between the best eight players. World number one Sinner has won the Australian Open and US Open titles this year. During this tournament itself, he also received the world number one trophy.
This was the third match between Sinner and Fritz in recent months. Sinner won all three matches. The US Open final was also played between the two.
