ROME (ITALPRESS) – “This will be a four-year period where we will try to confirm the competitive results achieved in the last Olympics and Paralympics in Paris and prepare the technical work for the next ones in Los Angeles. There is a lot to do, the federation’s commitment will be in many sectors, one for all being training but also development and promotion in the area”. Thus Carlo Beninati on the sidelines of the assembly that elected him president of the Italian Badminton Federation for the third consecutive term. “We roll up our sleeves to start again with more strength without looking in the mirror, because we have achieved a minimum result compared to what we can achieve by working even harder for the future,” added Beninati, with an eye already turned to Brisbane 2032: “We talked about Brisbane because I believe that, especially for doubles, the technicians who will operate in this and the next four-year period will have to have an important line marked by the fact that in any case in doubles disciplines it is very difficult to obtain high-level results and the available places are minimum. For that type of discipline, I don’t think a four-year schedule is enough, so for the doubles you have to think from a two-four-year perspective.”
