Badminton: SC Itzehoe wants to win against Kronshagen

At the end of the first half of the season, another very important game awaits the first badminton team of the Itzehoe sports club (SCI). SG TSV Kronshagen/KBC, the bottom team in the league with no points, is visiting the Wellenkamp sports hall. Since the Itzehoers themselves only have one point in their points account, the loser of this duel will spend the turn of the year in a relegation zone. An intense and exciting match is inevitable.

Last season the SCI won both games. With the home fans behind us, this should happen again on Saturday (November 30th).
It is currently still unclear whether the ailing Adrian Nagel will be available to the Störstadt team for the match. The rest of the Itzehoer squad reported highly motivated and ready for action.

The SCI’s second team has little to lose against the leaders of the Landesliga Süd, SG BSG/Riemann Eutin. The team from Ostholstein started the season as the clear favorites and is well on course for the title with 11:1 points so far. Anything other than a clear success for Eutin would be a big surprise. Their men’s team, with playing experience up to the 2nd Bundesliga, appears to be particularly overpowering. So the Itzehoers will play freely and see whether they can become a stumbling block for their guests.

Both matches start on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Wellenkamp sports hall.
