For the first time in more than a decade, the Harbaugh siblings will face each other as coaches in the NFL. And again John can beat his younger brother Jim.
The Baltimore Ravens won the NFL away game at the Los Angeles Chargers and gave their coach John Harbaugh a family success. The team from the East Coast won 30:23 against the Californians, who are coached by Harbaugh’s brother Jim. With their eighth success in twelve games so far, the Ravens have the best chance of being in a good starting position for the playoffs in the US elite league. The Chargers (7:4) also remain well in the race for the knockout round.
Baltimore’s star quarterback Lamar Jackson successfully threw the ball into the end zone twice and ran for a third touchdown himself. His counterpart, Justin Herbert, also scored a rushing touchdown, but none of his throws reached the end zone.
The Harbaugh brothers faced each other in the NFL for the first time in almost twelve years. In Super Bowl 47 in February 2013, John Harbaugh’s Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers, then coached by his brother Jim. Most recently, Jim Harbaugh was a college coach at the University of Michigan for a decade before returning to the NFL this season. He hasn’t been able to win any of his three duels so far with his older brother in the best football league in the world.
