Final bouquet of collective disciplines. The interbank competitions initiated by the Sports Association of Banks (ASB) continue.
The 3×3 basketball tournament was held this weekend on the grounds of the Barea annex stadium in Mahamasina. Among the men, the BNI narrowly beat Baobab in the final, with a score of 11-10. These two teams were the leaders of their group at the end of the group stage. BNI eliminated BFM in the semi-finals and Baobab dismissed MCB. The Mauritian bank finished third after the classification match. Ten teams competed in the men’s category.
On the women’s side, Baobab took her revenge and defeated BNI (9-2) in the final duel. Solidis finished in third place. Eight teams were in the race for the women.
Twenty disciplines have already competed since March. Among the new competitive disciplines integrated since this season are 3×3 basketball and ladies double pétanque. All that remains is the swimming competition and the ballroom dancing competition.
The trophy distribution ceremony for champions, all disciplines combined, is scheduled for December 8 at Krypton in Ambohimalaza.
