FC Bayern brings former NBA professional from Turkey

Last season, Onuralp Bitim played in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls. Now the Turkish winger is moving to Munich on loan.
The FC Bayern basketball players have responded to their injury problems and signed former NBA professional Onuralp Bitim (25). As the Munich team announced, the Turkish winger was loaned from Fenerbahce Istanbul until the end of the season. Bitim has a long-term contract there. Last season he played in the North American professional league for the Chicago Bulls and made 23 appearances. Basketball legend Michael Jordan’s former team parted ways with him in mid-October.
“After two players in the wing position, Niels Giffey and then Vlado Lucic, were injured and we are still missing, the coaching staff and the team handled the situation excellently. But this additional workload cannot be managed responsibly in the long term. That’s why we are giving in We were looking for a solution and are now very happy to have gained a very talented and versatile player for us in Onuralp,” said sports director Dragan Tarlac, explaining the small forward’s commitment. Bitim will be joining the Munich team next week.
