This Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 11 middle school students participated in the district basketball competition.
Two teams were entered in this tough competition. A mixed team which finished without a victory but with experience at this level.
A men’s team which sought victory in every match. The victories followed one another (20-4) against the Herriot college in La Roche sur Yon, (12-8) against the Soljenitsyne college in Aizenay. The defeat of two small points (12-14) against the Gondoliers college of La Roche sur Yon cost the qualification to our young people from Haxo who finished 3e of the general classification out of 9 teams.
Both teams will want to do better next year and the Friday lunchtime training sessions will bear fruit!
Next Wednesday at AS: Indoor Athletics at Vendespace and Climbing Initiation (competition postponed to December 4)
The AS also offers two slots for sporting and artistic activities every lunchtime!
