Berlin (Alba Berlin – EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 105 – 101) – Berlin confirms itself as a haunted parquet for Ea7 Milano which for the fourth consecutive year loses away in extra time against Alba (101-105), last in the standings and with half the team unavailable due to injury. Yet another comeback defeat suffered this season by Ettore Messina’s team who, thanks to a horror movie defense, threw away a 13-point lead (55-68 in the 26th minute) before falling in overtime. It is the success of Alba of the Italians Procida and Spagnolo: the winger – sought after by Ettore Messina’s team in the summer – scores a career high with 29 points; the point guard instead chases away the shadows on the three-point shot (2/4) and adds 9 assists to the 20 points. For comparison: the five Italians from Milan score 16 points, 10 for Tonut alone. For Milan, the monstrous performances of Mirotic (28 and 10 rebounds) and Leday (23) were not enough, but they disappeared when the ball weighed more.
