Los Angeles (dpa) – The Orlando Magic have lost another game in the North American basketball league NBA after six wins in a row. The team of world champions Franz and Moritz Wagner and Tristan da Silva lost out to the Los Angeles Clippers with 93:104 (54:57). With nine wins and seven defeats, the team from Florida is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
After Franz Wagner had broken the 30-point mark three times in the last four games and was voted the NBA’s best player in the Eastern Conference, this time he didn’t score more than 14 points, but he also managed six rebounds, six assists and four Steals. His brother Moritz and da Silva each scored ten points. The Magic were on par with the Clippers until the beginning of the third quarter, but then conceded a 4:21 run.

Successful return of Isaiah Hartenstein
Isaiah Hartenstein scored a double-double in his debut for the Oklahoma City Thunder. After the center missed the first 15 games of the season due to a broken hand, he returned to the floor in the 109:99 (47:44) home win over the Portland Trail Blazers. With 13 points and 14 rebounds as well as three assists and four blocks, the 26-year-old made a strong impression. Hartenstein scored eight points in the final period alone, in which the Thunder continually pulled away.
Hartenstein moved from the New York Knicks to Oklahoma City in the summer, where he signed a three-year, $87 million contract, according to media reports. The Thunder picked up their twelfth win in their 16th game of the season against Portland.
