Basketball: NBA; Denver surrenders to Dallas, Warriors and Bucks ok – Basketball

Denver finds Nikola Jokic again after three games of absence, comes back from -24 but in the end surrenders to Dallas without Luka Doncic, capable of winning the fourth game in a row. Golden State beats New Orleans 108-112 and secures a place in the elimination phase of the NBA Cup. Milwaukee wins for the fifth time in the last six driven by a great Antetokounmpo (37-point triple-double), Philadelphia stops the crisis by overcoming Brooklyn with 30 points from rookie Jared McCain.

The mark of great teams is to be able to win (96-108) even when they are not at their best, and the Celtics in Washington prove once again that they are a great team. On an evening in which Jayson Tatum runs empty (16 points but with 6/19 shooting including 0/10 from three) and the Celtics in general shoot 24% from three points, the green and whites still manage to win the second game on three valid for the NBA Cup thanks to the 31 points of Jaylen Brown, who also scored the triple with 46 seconds left. Jordan Poole’s 23 points, Kyle Kuzma’s 21 and former player Malcolm Brogdon’s 18 with 10 rebounds were not enough for the hosts: the losing streak extended to 10.
