Basketball – Women: One hundred and sixty-one to zero!

Basketball – Women: One hundred and sixty-one to zero!

A humiliating score and many questions about the state of the Ben Arous club.

This is the final result of the basketball match which pitted the girls from Stade Tunisien against those from Ben Arous!

This masterful correction will go down in the annals and will forever mark these girls who were handed over to experienced players. They also risk never setting foot on a basketball court again.

They are as right as their pseudo-leaders are wrong. The Ben Arous team presented itself with 5 young players and very far from the level. The score clearly speaks about their quality.

Sport loses all its meaning when the imbalance of forces is so obvious. We hope that the Tunisian Basketball Federation will react accordingly and demand accountability from those who took the liberty of ridiculing, not the girls of Ben Arous, but the entire competition.

A competition which loses all its meaning, brings nothing to this discipline and distorts any possibility of projection from a technical point of view.

We try hard to understand the motivations of those who “set up” this team. We see nothing sporting there first, nothing educational then, nothing human finally.

Who would want to be in these girls’ shoes? No matter how much we try to explain this torture in public and in the open, these alibis are unacceptable.

This is why we have always paid relative attention to these figures which announce “progress” in the expansion of a sporting discipline.

Another argument, this type of behavior could be explained and it is up to the federation and the MJS to verify it, that we hired this ghost female team to appropriate the amount allocated by the ministry.

Based on information gathered, it appears that these girls are training without a basketball backboard. All this deserves an investigation and sanctions in the event of a breach of sporting ethics.
