Boss Nicola Rullo wanted
In addition to the two baseball bats, a cobblestone and a hammer were also used to beat the father and son, who are 52 and 26 years old respectively. It emerges from the State Police investigations which involve, among others, Nicola Rullo, believed to be the head of the Contini clan. A few days after the violence against the two victims, an arrest warrant was issued against him: since then Rullo has been wanted.
The hammer, as reconstructed by the Naples Flying Squad, would also have been used against the 52-year-old’s chest, while very serious threats were made to him: that is, that his entire family would be killed if he did not hand over the 375 thousand euros paid by one of the suspects (a friend of the same age as the 26-year-old) as part of a deal in the car sector. Real hours of terror worthy of a horror film, essentially, suffered by father and son, in a house in Naples, where the 26-year-old son of the kidnapped entrepreneur was taken first in order to beat him savagely.
The father’s nightmare
In the end the father was also accompanied to that apartment where he was also beaten before being given a couple of hours to recover the large sum of money (which he did not possess) to be delivered to an appointment scheduled for 11pm of that September 26, 2024.
Before being released, however, the 52-year-old was forced to record a voice on the phone of one of the suspects in which he admitted to having borrowed the money “from these good people”. After the violence, the entrepreneur’s son was put in a car and taken to a house in Castel Volturno, in the Caserta area, where a nurse treated his wounds before a black bag was placed over his head to dump him, around at half past one on September 27th, in front of the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Naples. Shortly before, the father had filed a complaint at the police station fearing for his son’s life.
