World Tennis Ball Premier League was launched in Jaipur to promote tennis ball cricket. The founder of the league and many former cricketers were present on this occasion. The league will start next year and will include 10 teams. A total of 28 matches will be played in the league, out of which 25 will be league matches while there will be two semi-finals and one final match.

Ushering in a new era of tennis ball cricket, the World Tennis Ball Premier League (WTPL) T10 was officially launched during a grand event at the Jaipur Marriott Hotel on Thursday. In this 60-ball tournament, 10 teams will be seen competing against each other. The main objective of WTPL is to revolutionize tennis ball cricket as well as discover top talent across the country through trials in 60 cities.

Youth should get recognition

WTPL T10 was founded by Gaurav Sachdeva, an eminent entrepreneur with a fresh perspective on tennis ball cricket, Rohit Bawri, an entrepreneur with over 18 years of expertise in pharmaceuticals, real estate and exports and Rohit Bawri, an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in cricket. First class cricketer Robin Choudhary has done it together. Speaking about the league, Founder Gaurav Sachdeva said, “Our aim is to create a platform where young cricket talents can get the recognition they deserve. WTPL T10 is not just a tournament but a platform for all cricket lovers. It’s going to be like a celebration.” The teaser of the league was also launched during the program. Speaking on the occasion, WTPL Founder Rohit Bawri said, “This platform is not just about cricket but also an opportunity for young players to showcase their talent. No matter what the level of cricket, Pink It’s always exciting to play with the ball. Here too, it will serve as a foundation for a bigger platform.”

Aakash Chopra, who has impressed people with his commentary on the field, also shared his views and said, “There are such superstars in tennis ball cricket who surprise you. Tournament will be held in May

The league will be temporarily hosted at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat in May-June 2025 and will consist of 10 teams, namely Rajasthan Kings, Bombay Bullets, Delhi Dynamos, Haryana Stallions, Punjab Royals, Chennai Strikers, Kolkata Warriors, Pune Falcons, Gujarat Jaguar, and UP Thunderbolts. A total of 28 matches were played in this tournament including 25 league matches, two semi-finals and one final. Will go. The matches will be telecast live on TV and digital platforms, ensuring maximum visibility for players and fans. The organizers also revealed their ambitious vision for the future, including hosting the Asia Cup with tennis ball cricket and a possible bilateral series between India and Pakistan.
