Wuppertal. Around 70 volunteers are part of the team of the second division handball team Bergischer HC, which ensures the set-up and operations in the hall on match days and makes it possible. The BHC always recognizes them at the end of the year with a thank you evening.

This time it took place in the “Rossini” in the Wuppertal town hall and was well received by everyone involved, as BHC managing director Philipp Tychy reports. Of course there was food and drink from BHC partner Culinaria and the opportunity to chat with the players. The team was one of around 90 guests in the “Rossini”.
Managing Director Tychy emphasizes the importance of collaboration
“We first had to look for a suitable date and used it before the weekend without games,” said Tychy. A karaoke competition, in which two players led a team of volunteers, contributed to the great atmosphere. The team of Eloy Morante Maldonado and Tjörvi Gislason finally won the trophy, who were completely convincing with their interpretation of a Cologne song.

“Everyone had a lot of fun,” said Philipp Tychy and once again emphasized how great the volunteers were and how important they were.
