On Saturday 9 November the European Open Senior judo was held, among the participants of the day also the judoka of the Polisportiva Besanese Federico Bosis who won the bronze medal in the -73 kg category.

Although Bosis still belongs to the junior class, the judoka was able to assert himself, playing five matches in total, winning the first three before the time limit. In the first match, he defeated a Greek athlete, followed by an Israeli opponent in the second round, and finally overcame an Italian compatriot in the quarterfinals, winning in all three matches by ippon.
Having reached the semi-finals, Bosis faced Leonardo Valerianilosing narrowly to the talent of the Fiamme Gialle who then won the category.
In the bronze medal match, the young man challenged a more experienced Irish athlete, managing to prevail in wazari and thus win the bronze medal, adding a precious result to his young palmarès.
The next appointment for Bosis will still be in Ostia on November 24th for the Italian A1 Cup final.
