The game will take place on December 25 at 4:30 p.m. ET (9:30 p.m. GMT). While details surrounding the performance are currently under wraps outside of the “Cowboy Carter” element, Netflix has announced that Beyoncé is expected to bring with her “a few special guests” who appear on the disc.
Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” earned a five-star review, with Jenessa Williams writing for ZikNation: “Even interpreted purely on the level of artistic spectacle, it is an undeniable pleasure to see her swing so hard on a project which dares to be so intimate and vocal, while leaving room for newcomers from country. »
Beyoncé has performed at two other halftime shows in the past, both during the Super Bowl. In 2013, she performed with fellow Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Three years later, she performed again – this time alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
In other Halftime Show news, Kendrick Lamar will headline next year’s Super Bowl Halftime slot in New Orleans. The news was announced in September, and the game will take place on February 9, live from Caesars Superdome.
