Last week there was an extensive program for the TVH players with some highlights.
Helena Huang and Zhen Huang started with the Swedish Jouth Games in Malmö, Sweden, where they were able to compete with the European competition.
While Zhen at least achieved a respectable success in the U17 doubles, Helena, unseeded, made it to the quarter-finals and the round of 16 in the doubles with strong performances in singles and mixed doubles.
Because the best Hessian youth players met at the weekend for the preparatory course for the German championship in Frankfurt, this was the chance for all the other players C ranking in Dillenburg hard to score points.
33 TVH players took part here, in many cases starting in older age groups and achieving great success.
It could Marie Manigk (U13) shine as the most successful TV athlete with first places in all three disciplines in her age group.
In addition, each made it in one discipline Lemon Wen, Ben Hitzler Spital, Olivia Vahlandt, Luca Knoch
and Angelie Bhatti.
Podium places in the older age group were achieved by Adrijan Umscheid (U13, E and D),
Matilda Koepf (U15, D and M), Leo Großer (U15, Mx), Kai Richter and Ben Hitzler Spital (U17, D),
Angelie Bhatti (U19, MX).
Olivia Vahlandt and Bruno Koschatzki (U13, Mx) took podium places in their age group.
Moritz Landvogt, Joseph Zöllner (U11, D).
But that’s not enough.
Karl Nagel was the only TVH athlete to start among the adults O19-A-Ranglistenturnier in Mellensee, Brandenburg.
He achieved the best placement in mixed doubles with Aurelia Wulandoko (Freystadt). With difficult draws in singles and doubles, the final stage was already one round early.
In addition, an E-ranking took place in the Frankfurt district, in which 6 TVH participants were active.
Picked it up David Lang (U17) and Sarah Müller (U13) took third place in the individual.
