Bjelica on Sučić: ‘He can fit into any team’ – Sportalo

In recent days, there have been rumors about Atletico Madrid‘s interest in Dinamo‘s midfielder, Petr Sučić, who experienced a ‘boom’ this season. The Spanish media is intrigued by the path that Sučić took, from being anonymous to one of Dinamo’s most important players, and that in just two seasons.

As reported by Sportske novosti, Nenad Bjelica found himself in an interview with the Spanish Relevo for this very reason, and he revealed that this summer Dinamo rejected the 10 million euros offered by the Italian Como for the transfer of Petr Sučić to their ranks.

“Since then, he has developed impressively and has become an indispensable part of the national team, while he performs for Dinamo at the highest level. That’s why many teams follow his games”, says Bjelica.

As he himself has experience playing in Spain, where he played a total of 132 games in the jerseys of Albacete, Real Betis and Las Palmas, Bjelica confirms that Sučić could play in La Liga.

“Atletico is a big club. We will see how his career develops. I know that he is currently happy in Dinamo and I am happy to train him”, adds Dinamo’s coach.

Petar Sučić is known for the incredible amount of runs he can run during each game, and for this very reason, comparisons with another player with “big lungs”, Marcel Brozović, have appeared. However, Bjelica claims that Sučić has a different role on the field.

“I see him as a more offensive version of Brozović. He can play six, but he is best at eight. Can he fit in at Atletico? He can join any team. He is a great worker, humble and calm. Many clubs want him, but no one knows where he will end up. I believe that it will be a great club”, said Nenad Bjelica at the end.

In the past 60 appearances for Dinamo, Petar Sučić has shown that he has a great career ahead of him, and this is also shown by the kind words that the current coach, Nenad Bjelica, said about him.
