The Hajduk fans’ association, Naš Hajduk, which owns 30.6% of the club’s shares, published a statement.
They recalled the large protest against corruption in Croatian football held 10 years ago on Split’s Riva. They pointed out that, despite their efforts, nothing has changed.

“A whole decade has passed since the mass protest against the political and mafia occupation of Croatian football. The memories do not fade and the impression is as if we saw each other on the Riva ten months ago, not as many years, and the reason for this is extremely obvious: the leadership positions of the football association are still people with the same temperament, only different hair, so the fight against such a variety it seems unceasing.
A whole series of affairs permeated through the action of the alliance. Family, godfather, political and interest connections of the main actors of the football peak; repeated delegation of referees who do not have a single European match in their portfolio; changes of residential addresses so that the derbies will be refereed by Maksimir’s neighbors; the VAR leaks affair in which unprofessional and tendentious judging was exposed to the end – and in which, as in the Fair Trial affair, we never saw a reasonable and fair epilogue.
In the end, fabricating recordings from the VAR room and presenting them to the public as authentic is the most shameless attempt to cover up the setups and deceive the public. All that, and something else not mentioned, was not enough to shake the chairs and change the faces.
Politics, both national and local, had the whole time behind such an alliance and were at the service of football crime, while loyal media pushed the affair under the rug and repaired the damage. The cosmetic personnel changes were dust in the eyes, but everything was perfectly clear to the true fans.
That the Law on Sports is just a dead letter on paper is shown by the case of a long-time convict Calendula Sprayer who today has an important role in the organization of the domestic football competition, so he is also pushed into bizarre situations in which he distributes medals at competitions of younger ages, presumably in order to promote his court-proven moral values in front of children.
Bruno Marićthe main actor of the aforementioned fabrication of recordings from the VAR room, continues as a delegate to control the organization of matches according to HNL, and in the semi-shadow is his influential co-perpetrator of the fabrication of recordings Ivan Baby. Not to mention dozens of other actors with notorious biographies and even more notorious actions and intentions.
Ten years was a long enough period for the football pyramid to be restructured and thoroughly reformed, and instead we only got a badly done facelift. Nothing has changed except the constant struggle of the fans who stand as permanent opposition to the association and the people who represent it”announced from Ours Hajduk.
Bruno Marić, who was named in the press release, quickly responded.
“I have been reading for a long time pamphlets and false constructions, shameless lies and lies of those who create authority by spreading fear and threats! I don’t care, I told myself many times, because it is a group of bullies who say they are honest! But they are only talking about themselves, they are lying, because everyone has already found out about them! They are the ones who fabricate, and falsely slander others to fabricate! They are the burden of society, they are the burden of sports, they are the burden of democracy, even though they advocate it with all their mouths. Fake, of course! They whistle to those they cheer for, threaten those they cheer for, chant to themselves while cheering, make those they cheer for bow to them! They would be the best, but by force, they would be the strongest, but when they go 10 to one, they are the bravest when they see someone weaker than them! But they are actually an interest group gathered around themselves and only for themselves. Unfortunately for them, it is not a problem that they disgust every normal athlete from any part of Croatia. The problem is that they are disgusted by the vast majority of cities where they poison the environment! The big problem is that the excavators portray themselves as the owners of something that does not belong to them, and the quiet and happy majority suffers the burden of the squeamish minority! Although you are loud, although you are still numerous, you are the bottom of the bottom! You will never achieve your ambitions by force, because there are too many who do not bow to you or fear you. And your biggest defeat is that you are also despised by those you are rooting for, because they know that you are only rooting for yourself! Only Croatia!”Marić told SN.
