Bsc Grosseto 1952 officially opens the 2025 transfer market with the signing of Miguel Eduardo Lopeza Venezuelan receiver, born in 2003, with a French passport. The sporting director Roberto Piccioli and the technical staff led by manager Enrico Vecchi subjected the player, who will be fielded as a member of the community, to a trial which was held in recent days at the Simone Scarpelli stadium in via Orcagna.
The club, which in recent days said goodbye to captain Niccolò Cinelli, who has decided to take other paths, expressed satisfaction at having opened the signing campaign with a young man with good hopes, who plays for the French national team.
«We are happy – comments sporting director Roberto Piccioli – to begin our signing campaign with a talented twenty-one year old like Lopez. We want to set up a competitive roster, also enhancing the youth sector and following the manager’s needs. Obviously we will make careful choices, in line with the economic possibilities of the club, but we will try to bring excellent players to Maremma, to remain at the top of Serie A.”
Miguel Eduardo Lopez in 2024, before choosing BSC last season, played for Kimikawa in the Japanese Independent League, finishing with a batting average of 261 (36 out of 138, with one home run and 13 pbc). In 2023, however, he played in France with the Rochelle shirt, showing off with an average of 280 (26 out of 9, 13pbc).
