Last month, unknown people broke into the two stars’ homes – within just two days.
Two NFL football stars, two burglaries – within just two days: the private homes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were the target of intruders in October, and the criminal cases are causing a stir in the USA. The police confirmed the two burglaries, Mahomes and Kelce are the biggest stars of the NFL champion Kansas City Chiefs.
“It’s obviously frustrating and disappointing,” Mahomes said at a press conference on Wednesday: “I can’t talk about details because the investigation is still ongoing. But of course that’s something you wouldn’t wish on anyone.” The father of the family did not want to comment on whether anyone was in the house at the time of the break-in.
The acts occurred on October 6th and 7th, before and during a Chiefs home game: On October 7th, the team won against the New Orleans Saints.
According to police, cash worth $20,000 was stolen from Kelce’s home. According to the regional TV station Fox4, the two cases were apparently not part of a larger series of burglaries.
