During the last weekend, the Ligurian regional Judo championships organized by Fijlkam, the federation that regulates the discipline of martial arts in Italy, took place in Arenzano. Saturday was dedicated to competitive classes. Federico Centola participated for Byakko Tai and, with two victories, achieved third place in the Cadet category up to 73 kg. The result demonstrates the boy’s continuous growth who, from January, will enter the difficult Junior class with confidence in his abilities.
On Sunday, however, the kata athletes took to the mat. Luca Bernabè, under Byakko Tai, participated in the challenging kata of Konodak Goshin Jitsu (demonstration of personal defense in Judo) paired with Maestro Renato Cumia, member of the Ok Club Imperia, earning a well-deserved first place after months of training.
The entire board of Byakko Tai Sanremo expresses great satisfaction with the results achieved by its members, who have proven to be competitive both in fighting and in kata. The courses, at the headquarters in Strada Solaro 129, now continue in view of the final commitments of 2024 and the graduation exams in December. Registration for the courses is never closed and anyone who would like to approach the world of martial arts can show up at the gym or contact Marco on 3386006536.
