If you go up to Taipei 101, Taiwan’s ‘skyscraper’, you can see the breathtaking night view of Taipei. The city center filled with twinkling lights and the scenery unfolding beneath the Taiwanese mountains that resemble elephants are attractive. Between the lights of romantic buildings, the Tamsui River and Keelung River run through the city center.

Taipei 101, which reaches a height of 508 meters, is shaped like flower petals layered on a bamboo tree stretching into the sky. When viewed from a distance, it is divided into eight building segments. In Greater China, the number 8 symbolizes wealth, prosperity, and growth. It is said that it was designed with the wish to bring money and good fortune.

The 89th floor observatory can be reached in 37 seconds by riding a smart high-speed elevator. From the indoor observatory, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the sparkling Taipei city. From the outdoor observatory on the 91st floor, you can overlook the magnificent sky and the city center at a glance.

The photo zone with rainbow-colored lighting is perfect for taking pictures. In the photo zone that symbolizes a secret garden above the clouds, you can create a romantic scene that blends in with the city lights.

If you go to the 88th floor, you can see the world’s largest and heaviest open-air wind damper. This ‘Damper’, a huge pendulum, is called the king of earthquake-resistant design.

This damper balances the entire building and minimizes shaking when the building shakes. Thanks to the dampers spanning from the 87th to the 92nd floor, Taipei 101 is immune to strong winds and earthquakes.

At this restaurant, I ordered a 6-course Mediterranean meal. The first course included savory tuna tartare and Hokkaido sea urchin with caviar. Afterwards, I tried scallop scallops with Kyushu soy sauce and ginger. The orange puree surrounding the outside adds a tangy and refreshing taste. The third is Kibe cuisine. It tastes similar to hamburger steak, but is much softer and sweeter with the addition of white wine yogurt sauce.

Couscous Umami Salata, which includes sea-flavored mackerel and caviar fried rice, is served as the fourth course. Next, enjoy Shakshuka, which is freshly baked, crispy Turkish butter bread dipped in a salty spice sauce to whet your appetite before the main meal.

Taiwan’s National Palace Museum is a historical building with the highest cultural value in Taiwan. There are 700,000 different cultural assets on display. Entering the Palace Museum complex, you will find Silks Palace, a Chinese (Cantonese) restaurant. The exterior, made of green glass, stands out with the sophisticated modern sensibility of a famous architect. When you go inside, the traditional interior catches your eye. The overall design of the building is a unique pattern of ice cracks called ‘frosting’.

The representative collection of dishes here is the 9-course ‘Treasures of the Emperor (Forbidden City)’. We ordered 12 a la carte dishes, which were more generous than this dinner. All of these dishes are made in the shape of the dishes from the National Palace Museum. The menu consists of △ Yuk Hyeong-seok (dongpo meat) △ Emerald Baekchae △ Peking duck roast △ Buldojang △ Tile sea bream △ Stir-fried wild greens △ Stir-fried duck and bean sprouts △ Fried rice with mullet roe △ Grass Jelly with Fresh Cream.

Yuk Hyeong-seok (Dongpo-yuk) served as the first course allows you to taste the soft texture of pork. Peking duck, also known as Peking duck, is made with vegetables and roasted duck inside wheat pancakes and served with sauce. The sweet yet crunchy texture is excellent. You can also see the chef cutting the roast duck himself.

‘Buldojang’, known as a high-quality health food, is made with rare ingredients such as abalone, mushrooms, sea cucumbers, and fish belly, making it perfect for health. Mullet roe fried rice is a combination of mullet roe that pops in your mouth and salty fried rice. The desserts were also replicas of the desserts and treasures eaten in the imperial family. Grass jelly has a sweet jelly taste with an herbal taste. When you spray the cream, a picture painted by a famous artist appears.

Scalp scaling first checks the condition of the scalp using a detector. Next, an intense massage is given to the shoulders and neck, and it feels like my body and mind are recovering from stress. Afterwards, the scalp acupuncture points are stimulated using a patented massager, and then dead skin cells are removed using negative ion therapy. Then, wash off various impurities with shampoo.
