This weekend, the young and adult teams of the Castelnaudary Tennis club were on the courts to defend their colors. Here is a summary of the meetings.
Among young people
- Category 8/9/10 year old boys. Complicated travel to Narbonne Saint-Georges for young Chaurians. In singles Thimothée Latrasse and Raphaël Molina lost. In doubles, the association of Arthur Le Guellec-Petit and Raphaël Molina was not enough to reverse the trend. Result: defeat 0/3.
- Category 11/12 boys. Reception of neighbors of TC Lauragais. The young players responded brilliantly. In singles, Quentin Krivobokow and Lorenzo Alcacer Maïa won their matches. In doubles, the same players confirm their superiority. Result: 3/0 victory.
- Category 15/18 girls. Travel to ASPTT Carcassonne. In singles, victory for Bianca Brinzam and defeat for Juliet Zandvliet. In doubles, the two young girls won with authority. Result: 2/1 victory.

In adults

Women’s Challenge 3rd series. The ladies traveled to Narbonne for a major challenge. In singles, defeats for Pauline Lobel and Samantha Doya, followed by a defeat in doubles. Result: defeat 0/3.

Interclubs division 3 men. Successful trip to Sallèles d’Aude for the men. In singles, victories for Codrut Brinzam, Laurent Schwartz, and Jérôme Julia, with only one defeat for Rarès Negreï. In doubles, the Jérôme/Rarès pairs bring two additional points. Result: 5/1 victory. After three days, the team occupies first place in its group with two victories and a draw.

Mixed cup 4th series. In the quarter-final, Castelnaudary hosted TC Briolet. In men’s doubles, defeat of Maxence Taphanel and Olivier Passama. In mixed doubles, victory for Maëva Chancrogne and William Marande. In singles, defeat of Yohan Corne for men and Bianca Brinzam for women after a fierce fight where she came very close to a victory. Result: defeat. The adventure ends there, but the journey remains remarkable.
