Will inaugurate Ram Setu road
Under the Arpa Upliftment and Bank Enhancement Project, the road on the right side of the Arpa River has been named Ram Setu Marg. The cost of Ram Setu route is Rs 49 crore 98 lakh. This includes footpaths, dividers, street lights, retaining walls, pitching and beautification work.
Gift of mini stadium to the city
Bilaspur Smart City Limited has constructed a mini stadium at a cost of Rs 21 crore 79 lakh by improving the grounds of the city’s old and prestigious Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Multipurpose School. It has a fully equipped cricket ground of 14115 square meters, which has a spectator capacity of 850. There is facility to play day-night matches here. A modern gym has been built here along with facilities to play indoor games like snooker, billiards, table tennis, squash. Apart from this, training hall has been constructed.
Sports Complex
Along with this, a sports complex has been constructed in Sanjay Taran Pushkar Complex in Bilaspur at a cost of Rs 14 crore 60 lakh. Parking will be operated in the basement of the three-storey sports complex, reception and restaurant will be operated on the ground floor. The first floor has badminton, squash court, table tennis, snooker, billiards. At the same time, the second floor has the facility of multipurpose hall, yoga, mat game. The third floor has many entertainment facilities.
Multilevel parking in Kotwali
Here, a three-storey multi-level car parking has been built on three and a half acres in the Kotwali police station premises. Apart from the ground floor, parking facility has been provided in all the floors in which 192 cars and 325 bikes can be parked simultaneously. The ground floor has been developed as a commercial complex in which 46 shops have been constructed.
Uslapur-Sakri Road
The Municipal Corporation has upgraded and widened 4.25 km road from Uslapur Railway Overbridge to Sakri Bypass Chowk at a cost of Rs 15 crore 87 lakh. The widening and updating of the road has brought a lot of relief to the pedestrians. Also there is relief from traffic jam. A divider has been made to upgrade the road. There are drains on both sides of the road along with street lights.
