The Duranguense children in the group stage faced the representative teams of Los Angeles California to the tune of 3 runs to 2. In another exciting match they beat Zacatecas 7 by 6 and blanked the hosts from Mazatlán 8 to 0. In the semifinal they accounted for the ninth Wall, Mazatlán in another great duel, winning 3 races to 2. Accessing the final in which they faced Minisox de Hidalgo whom they defeated 4 by 1 and taking over the title of the event. As if that were not enough, Sebastián Cruz was named the most valuable player of the tournament.

The Durango representative was made up of Tomas Villegas, Efraín Corona, Amaury Pérez, Emiliano Espino, Alonzo Castillo, Damián Ortiz, Mateo Aguirre, Emmanuel Ramos, Sebastián Cruz, Derek González, Matías Vázquez, Ángel Castillo and Antuan Ceniceros. All under the direction of manager Edgar Salazar and coaches Gerardo González and Luis Luna. A great feat accomplished by these children who represented the municipality of Lerdo and the state of Durango in this great event.
