Bayer 04 Leverkusen – RB Salzburg 5:0 (3:0)

Inter Milan – RB Leipzig 1:0 (1:0)

For RB Leipzig, this year’s Champions League season could be over early after their fifth defeat in five games. Lost at Inter Milan Leipzig with 0:1 and therefore only has a minimal chance of making it to the knockout round. The crisis continues to worsen for Marco Rose’s team, which has now lost its fifth competitive game in a row.

Against a strong Milan team, they were already behind after the 27th minute. An own goal from defender Castello Lukeba increased the uncertainty among the Leipzig team, who fought against the defeat in the second half, but in the end were too unimaginative when it came to their own possession of the ball. They were therefore unable to convert an otherwise good second half into an equalizer.
