Lovers of the sport of basket ball have a sporting event this Christmas in the sports city. The second edition of 3×3 Charity Basketball Tournament will be held next December 28 in Ávila with the objective of allocating the collection to the entities that make up the Municipal Disability Council.
On this Tuesday morning, the Councilor for Tourism, Sports and Festivals of the Ávila City Council, Carlos Lopezalong with David Borreguero and Fernando Moralorganizers of this initiative in which the Abulense Basketball Delegationhave presented an activity that is part of the Christmas sports program and that seeks to involve the youngest, in order to introduce them to the world of basketball.
With this aimthe organization plans to not only reach but also exceed the participation figures of last year, when they competed 18 teams in the senior category and five in the cadet-infant categorycoming not only from Avila capital but also from others municipalities of Avila and provinces like Valladolid o Madrid.
divided into two categories –joint category and category for those over 16 years old-, the tournament will raise funds for the entities that make up the Municipal Council of People with Disabilities, so a Team Zero linked to an account number in which donations.
Registrations
The matches will be played in the CUM Carlos Sastreof 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the teams will be made up of a minimum of three and maximum of four players.
