The Ecuador national team has seen several players who have made the leap to the greats of Europe, and now they report from England that the Chelsea has received a report from his scouts that they are signing a national footballer for the next European market.
According to British media, Chelsea scouts recommended the club go for the signing of Joel Ordonez. Agents see the national team’s central defender as a low-cost signing.
The Blues are looking for a new central defender and their renowned options, including Piero Hincapié, amount to up to 60 million euros, a figure that the club would not be willing to pay for the winter market.
Ordóñez has a contract signed with Brugge in Belgium until 2028 and was recently renewed. At the time they paid 4 million for his exit clause to Independiente del Valle.
