A spectacular goal from Moises Caicedo saved a point for Chelsea, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United, Sunday (3/11).
The Blues started the match quite confidently, and Noni Madueke’s header hit the post. However, they failed to maintain that dominance so Man United were able to seize control and almost took the lead at the end of the first half when Marcus Rashford’s shot rattled the bar.
Pedro Neto’s low shot went narrowly wide after the interval, but Chelsea fell behind after Robert Sanchez brought down Rasmus Hojlund in the box, and Bruno Fernandes executed his penalty well.
But Caicedo neutralized the situation with a beautiful volley after Cole Palmer’s corner was cleared by Casemiro.
