“Coach David Horejš, together with the entire implementation team, is doing a great job here in Hradec. The team under his leadership made further performance progress in my eyes. It is therefore a logical outcome that I wanted to extend his contract,” said the club’s sports director Jiří Sabou.
Horejš took over the team during the spring of last season and, thanks to great results, fought with Hradec until the last game for promotion to the Conference League.
The Votroks are doing well this season as well. Although they are troubled by low productivity, missing a gunner, they still have a solid nineteen points and rank among the teams in the middle of the table.
“Working here in Hradec means a lot to me. It is my pleasure that I can continue to be a part of the club that Hradec is today. I appreciate the trust I have from the management and the fans who support us,” says Horejš.
The implementation team will thus continue with the same composition, which was the only condition of the native of Prachatica. “I am very happy for all the members. It was my only condition to continue here because these people are doing a very good job for the club and I believe that we will continue to work to make sure that the fans leave the stadium satisfied. We want to keep moving Hradec football further,” he adds.
