Come to the RTC performance day on Friday, January 3

We are always looking for talented youth players who are ready for the next step. That is why we are organizing a national RTC performance day at Papendal in Arnhem on Friday, January 3, 2025.

What is the RTC performance day?
During the preliminary day you will receive training from the RTC coaches and they will assess whether you have sufficient potential to qualify for a place at an RTC. An initial selection is made during the preliminary day, after which players are invited again for a second preliminary moment at the RTC where they could eventually go.

What is an RTC?
A Regional Training Center is an official training center of Badminton Netherlands where talented players from the age of 10 are welcome to come and train. Players who are still in primary school train a maximum of twice a week and players who are in secondary school train four times a week. Training at an RTC is the next step to being selected for the National Youth selection and the ultimate goal is for players to be able to progress to the full-time program.

For whom?
Talented youth players from 9 to 15 years old who already train at least twice a week at an association and/or a badminton school/extra training place and who have the ambition to join an RTC now or in the future. Players who already train at a badminton school have priority on the preliminary day. Players who already train at a badminton school have priority on the preliminary day.

When?
The performance day will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025.

9:30 – 10:45 Group 1
11:00 – 12:15: Group 2
The groups are divided by age. You will be informed about this no later than Friday, December 27.
