Argentine football expert Hernan Crespo (49) was sacked by Al-Ain from the United Arab Emirates after a string of poor results.

Crespo took over Al Ain in November last year, and led the club in 49 matches, achieving 22 wins, seven draws and 20 losses.
A 1-5 defeat against the Saudi club Al-Nassra in the Asian Champions League decided him.
He started coaching in Parma, the club where he ended his playing career, and then worked in Modena and in Argentine clubs Banfield and Defensa Justicia, Brazilian Sao Paulo and Al Duhail.
During his great playing career, he played for River Plate, Parma, Lazio, Inter, Chelsea, Milan… In the Argentinian jersey, he made 64 appearances and scored 35 goals.
