Former midfielder French national team Emmanuel Petit believes that the forward “Al-Nasra” Cristiano Ronaldo will not reach the 1,000-goal mark in his career, Sports.kz reports with reference to Soccer.ru.
The Portuguese striker has scored 907 goals so far.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not score 1,000 goals even if he plays in Saudi Arabia until he is 42. At this age it will be extremely difficult to score an average of 30-40 goals per season, and with age the performance will only decrease. To be honest, I don’t expect him to come close to that number,” Petit said.
