The French Judo Federation and the Landes Judo Jujitsu Committee announce the first stage of youth activities for the 2024/2025 sports season which begins on Saturday November 9 with a program in Rion-des-Landes. The activities will take place at the gymnasium, rue Nicolas Brémontier, from 9 a.m. • 9 a.m. / 9:30 a.m.: Little Tigers Tournament Komodo Trophy – Chicks born in 2015-2016. Technical expression part: collective warm-up 10 minutes, work by workshop 10 minutes. • 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Criterium of the Four Seasons – Olympiad 2024/2025 – young people born in 2013 – 2014. Having become an Olympic sport, judo is a Japanese martial art which combines physical strength, technique and mental discipline. The third sport most practiced by children under 12, it attracts many children who can try it from the age of 4. Thus, this first stage of youth activities pursues several objectives: opening the practice of judo to as many people as possible, arousing the interest and loyalty of young people through an evolving system, contributing to their technical development, encouraging the expression of their skills, promote an inclusive approach without premature elimination and without favoring an elite within this rapidly developing age category.
