Quarterback Daniel Jones signed with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, five days after leaving the New York Giants.
At least that’s what reported Fox Sports at the start of the day. Jones and Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell are reportedly old acquaintances, which helped the center in his decision-making process.

Jones, 27, was released by the Giants at his request last Friday after losing his job as the organization’s No. 1 quarterback.
Drafted in the first round by the Giants in 2019, he signed a huge four-year pact, in 2022, which would bring him a total of $160 million in the long term.
However, things went badly afterwards and two years later, the Giants withdrew their confidence in him.
Jones has won just three of his last 16 starts, in which he has just 10 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
