Udaipur 5 November 2024. Talented national player Dhruv Tripathi was appointed captain of the lawn tennis team of Mohanlal Sukhadia University and was selected for the West Zone Inter-University Lawn Tennis Competition.
This competition will be held at ITM University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh starting from 7th November till 11th November. On the selection of Dhruv, University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra, Chairman of Sports Board Prof. Neeraj Sharma, Secretary Dr. Bhimrao Patel sent off the team with best wishes.
Dhruv, currently a student of BBA fourth semester at Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute, gave the credit of his success to his coach Khemraj Gameti and talented player and physical teacher Ujjwal Dadhich.
Dhruv’s father Ashok Tripathi told that Dhruv has been receiving training at Maharana Pratap Sports Village and Kapasan Tennis Club in Udaipur for the last two years. Team manager Mohan Lal Salvi, players Khushal Prajapat, Vikas Chaudhary, Ramesh Suthar, Gaurang Chauhan are included. Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute Director TP Sharma and Sports Department Coordinator Dr Neeru Shrimali have also congratulated him on getting the captaincy of the university.
