Russian Diana Shnaider won the Hong Kong tournament this Sunday. This is the fourth title of the 20-year-old’s career.
Russian Diana Shnaider, seeded N.1, beat Briton Katie Boulter, seeded N.2, 6-1, 6-2, Sunday in the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Hong Kong. Shnaider, 14th in the world, won her fourth title this season, having won her first tournament in Hua Hin last February.
The 20-year-old also won the silver medal in doubles at the Paris Olympics this summer alongside her compatriot Mirra Andreeva, another great hope in Russian tennis. Boulter, 29th in the world, lost her first final on the WTA circuit on Sunday after three successes.
