On the last day of the national league, the judokas were TuS Iserlohn visiting Olsberg and as a favorite. The judokas from Rauxel and Olsberg faced a strong Iserlohn team, which, however, had a pitch-black day. After a narrow 3-2 lead after the first series of matches against Rauxel, everything seemed to be going according to plan for TuS, but they surprisingly lost Dennis Ruppel (up to 66 kg). Thus secured Adrian Veltum (up to 81 kg) as the final fighter with a remarkable Ippon, only the final score was 5:5.

After this negative surprise, the Iserlohn team had to play against the hosts Olsberg compete. Nick Robitashvili (up to 73 kg) won both of his fights. In addition, from Iserlohn’s perspective, there was also emphasis on the heavyweights Sven Semer and Christoph Kutschegura Leave those who remained undefeated. Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be enough to win. There was a 4:6 defeat against the hosts, which meant that the Iserlohn team had to give up third place in the final table, which they already thought was safe.
