District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Dr. Durgensh Kumar inspected Kukargaon Regional Cooperative Society Limited and North Umri Resource Cooperative Society Manpur on Friday. During this, he took stock of the fertilizer storage and distribution system there and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials. On finding closure of Northern Umri Resource Cooperative Society, Manpur, instructions were given to investigate and take action against the Secretary. During inspection, 400 bags of DAP and 450 bags of urea fertilizer were available in Kukargaon Regional Cooperative Society Limited. While interacting with the farmers present, the District Magistrate said that there is sufficient availability of fertilizer and the farmers will not have to face any kind of problem. He also asked the farmers that if they are facing any problem in getting fertilizer then they should definitely inform. Farmers said that there is no problem in fertilizer distribution. Till now, tokens have been distributed to about 92 farmers, due to which they are getting fertilizer easily. This system is proving helpful in providing timely fertilizers to the farmers. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Rajendra Kumar Srivas and other officials were present.
